Syncor provided a dynamic web interface, including the HTML, CSS, and AJAX scripting, for the latest Envision platform controller from Horizon Technologies. The instrument's embedded web server provides pages for daily operation, administration and engineering maintenance. Separate pages and scripts were provided to optimize the web-browsing experience on a PDA. Many techniques were used to optimize page loading times and button responsiveness. The instrument gives real time feedback with a combination of updated text areas and dynamic image updating. Warning and errors are brought to the user's attention through the use of color and flashing images.
