Radar Collection and Post Processing System

Historically high speed radar data collection and processing systems have cost hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. In recent years costs have been coming down but systems have still required the use of very expensive specialty signal processing cards. Syncor has developed a radar collection system using Borland's C++ Builder 6.0 and Innovative Integration collection hardware and Tabor arbitrary waveform cards, that has recurring hardware costs of approximately $5,000.  Using a standard PC running Windows 2000 or Windows XP and employing some highly optimized software we can :
Collect real time data at rates up to 8MB/second 
 Perform extensive processing including 8K FFTs and Polar Rectangular Conversions
Plot in color or gray scale in real time with frame rates up to 32 fps
Store data to disk in raw or processed mode.
Stream TCP/IP data to another computer or to a separate application on the same computer.
Handle a new 8K sample of floating point data every millisecond
Perform Moving Target Indicator analysis using previous frame, fixed avg. or moving avg.
Calibrate and range compensate data
